We are located 4.5 hours drive from Johannesburg and the nearest town is Hazyview, Mpumalanga, which is a 10 minute drive away.

Lodge Suites
Our lodge suites include 2 Twin Suites, 2 King Suites, 2 Family Suites and 1 Deluxe Family Suite, accommodating up to 19 guests in total.
All rooms feature an en-suite jacuzzi bathroom, tv, tea / coffee making facility, mini-safe, ceiling fans & heaters.
We are a semi self-catering establishment and as such we offer built in barbecue facilities under a covered patio and a microwave in the suite.
Our central guest facilities include a reception, restaurant as well as lounge and bar area, which is perfectly positioned, overlooking the river rapids.
Enjoy a game of pool or simply unwind in our lounge and bar area or try your hand at fishing and tubing in the river.

Luxury Glamping Camp
Our luxury, air conditioned tents each comfortably accommodate two guests with ample space and feature an en-suite bathroom as well as a lovely covered deck overlooking the Sabie river to relax on.
The tents are nestled between the Sabie River and the lush foliage of hundreds of macadamia trees, providing truly exceptional surroundings for an unforgettable experience.
When joining us as a family, please enquire upon booking about the availability of an additional bed for younger children, alternatively you are welcome to bring your own camp cot along. Older children can be conveniently accommodated in an adjacent tent.
All your delectable meals are served at our restaurant, which is a short walk from the tents and positioned alongside the river. Breakfast and dinner are included for our luxury tent guests and are a real highlight, with specific dietary needs always taken into account (please confirm when booking).

Sundowners are enjoyed at our riverside bar where you can unwind, sample some of our famous South African wines or even dance a jig.
Come dusk and you will hear the distinct crackle of the nightly campfire from our open air Boma, a favourite spot for guests to sit back and take in the wonder of what we like to call our “Bush Tv”.
For those wanting to cool down, head to one of our sparkling pools for a relaxing swim.
Things to do at Lions Rock Rapids
Guests come to relax and unwind and this can best be done beside the river. Here you can relish the sounds of the rushing rapids, dig your toes into the sand, try your hand at fishing or even make an exciting trip down the river in a tube.
Our open air lounge and bar area, which overlooks the beach and river is also a favourite with our guests. Here you can enjoy a drink, a game of pool and some excellent company. In the evening, you will inevitably find yourself drawn to our open air boma fire on the beach, drink in hand, enjoying hours of chatter and stargazing.
If you are seeking adventure, the surrounding area offers many exciting activities including Game Drives, river rafting, quad biking, beautiful Elephant interactions and many more. These can all be arranged for you as an added extra by our staff.
There are also many renowned Mountain biking as well as hiking trails to enjoy and if you’ve booked a private massage in your tent, your muscles can be soothed away thereafter.
