Welcome to the green oasis of the Boutique Guest House "Old Villa".
The charming villa from the colonial era was acquired by us in 2017, elaborately renovated and lovingly furnished in laborious detail work. Since 2017 we have been leading this boutique guesthouse "Alte Villa".
GUEST HOUSE & APARTMENT ACCOMMODATION IN LUDERITZ
Each of our rooms has been individually decorated and has its own charm. Here you will be received with German hospitality. In our breakfast room we offer a rich breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 9:00 am and at the coffee / tea bar you can brew freshly ground coffee at any time and there is a large selection of fine teas at your disposal. Fast Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the property. We hope that you feel comfortable with us!
RED ROOM
Our "Red Room" is a double room with a queen size bed (155 cm wide). The very spacious en-suite bathroom has a large bath, a spacious shower, toilet and a vanity with two sinks.
ROOM GARUB
This double room with twin beds, as well as room 3, has access to the living room with great views over the Bay of Lüderitz. From the living room you reach the balcony, from which the view is even more breathtaking. The bathroom with bath / shower is en-suite.
ROOM GRASS FIELD
This double room with twin beds, as well as room 2, has access to the private living room with great views over the Bay of Lüderitz. From the living room you reach the balcony, from which the view is even more breathtaking. Both rooms have an en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower.
BOGENFELS APARTMENT
This 57 sqm, sunny double room with sea view has its own entrance from the garden. It is equipped with twin beds (each 90 cm wide) and has a bathroom with bath, sink, toilet and shower.
ICHABOE APARTMENT
This 65 square meter 2 bedroom apartment has two twin beds in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second sleeping area. This apartment has its own kitchen, if you do not want to go to the restuarant. In front of the entrance to this apartment you can relax in the hammock or the sofa and listen to the birdsong in the garden. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a washbasin.
TSIRAS APARTMENT
This 60 sqm double bed room has a private garden where you can relax in peace. On order you can also have "Breakfast in Bed" or enjoy the Frustuck in the private garden. In addition, the apartment has a TV and built-in carmine. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a washbasin.
ACTIVITIES - KAYAK TOURS IN LUDERITZ
The Alte Loge offers exclusive kayak tours to two different destinations.
Weather permitting, we will bring you to Halifax Island where the Gentoo Penguin can be seen from the water.
It is believed that Halifax Island is the northernmost point on the African coast, where this penguin is burrowing. With luck, we'll see Heavisides dolphins and African oystercatchers along the way.
Alternatively, paddle through the first and second lagoon for a close-up of Luderitz's oyster industry. We also see birds like flamingos and African oystercatchers.
